Bows and Bags India respects your privacy and is committed to securely handling and deleting your personal data. This policy outlines how we process deletion requests.
2. Data Collection & Usage
We use the Hook Shopify app for social media logins via OAuth. When you log in using platforms like Facebook, Google, or Apple, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile picture (if applicable)
- Any other authorized information
This data is used only to manage your account and provide seamless access to our services.
3. Data Deletion Requests
If you wish to delete your account and personal data, you can request deletion through:
- Email: Send a request to support@bowsandbagsindia.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
- Website Form: Submit a request via our Contact Us page.
- Social Media Platforms: Request deletion via the respective platform’s data settings.
Upon receiving your request, we will:
- Remove your account from our store.
- Delete all associated personal data.
- Revoke OAuth login credentials and permissions.
4. Automatic Data Deletion
If you disconnect your social media login, we will automatically remove your OAuth credentials. Accounts inactive for 12 months may also be deleted after prior notification.
5. Third-Party Data Removal
Since OAuth login is managed by third-party providers (Facebook, Google, Apple), you may also need to remove Bows and Bags India’s access through their settings.
6. Compliance with Social Media Platforms
Our policy aligns with major social platforms, ensuring that:
- Users can request data deletion anytime.
- Data is erased from our servers within 7 business days.
- OAuth tokens and permissions are revoked upon deletion.
